Durham Radio is the new and exciting local commercial radio station for the City of Durham.
Broadcasting on 102.8 and 106.8 FM playing great music all day long, providing a soundtrack to daily life in this vibrant and beautiful City from current chart hits to classic songs from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s!
Our aim is to entertain and inform the people of Durham and it’s many thousands of visitors by providing local news, travel and weather updates along with details of local events and activities.
It’s a very exciting time and we are very proud to be on this journey, working hard to liaise with local businesses including Hotel Indigo Durham and the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill along with local people to get involved in every aspect of life in this beautiful City.
Our Breakfast Show is fronted by Nick Morrell who recently moved to the North East to be near his family after many years broadcasting in the East Anglia region of Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk and he’s very proud to be a part of a new and expanding radio station who are part of a larger group that is fast growing in Helius Media.
